ECI Telecom's Subsidiary To Supply Quality of Service
Solution To Deutsche Telekom
ECI Telecom Ltd's fully owned subsidiary ECtel
announced today that it has been chosen to supply its QualiView solution for Quality of
Service management of Deutsche Telekom's international networks.
ECtel was chosen by Deutsche Telekom as single supplier of In-Service Non-Intrusive
Measurement Device (INMD) Quality of Service management solutions following a competitive
bidding process. Deutsche Telekom intends to deploy ECtel's QualiView systems within six
sites in Germany which include: Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munchen and
Stuttgart. The systems will be commissioned into operation at the beginning of 1999.
ECtel's QualiView enables simultaneous comprehensive quality analysis of voice, fax and
data transmission. An In-Service Non-Intrusive Measurement Device,(INMD), ECtel's
QualiView offers a reliable high level Quality of Service solution, enabling service
providers to manage and monitor their networks online. The system's data management
capabilities provide intelligent exception reports, a wide variety of pre-determined
threshold alerts, and a Call Clarity Index. The system features management and analysis of
voice including echo, noise and measurement of CCI (Call Clarity Index), that correlates
objective measurements with subjective index of customer satisfaction based on a Mean
Opinion Score (MOS). Additionally, fax performance and traffic signaling analysis based on
SS7 signaling are all managed and analyzed by ECtel's QualiView system.
The TRP 360 is ECtel's revenue protection applications product line which includes
QualiView, FraudView and other applications.
