B.O.S' RFID and Mobile Division Receives an Order for a Self-Scanning Project in a Food Retail Chain

RISHON LEZION, Israel, Feb. 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- B.O.S Better Online Solutions Ltd. ("BOS" or the "Company") (NASDAQ:BOSC), a leading Israeli provider of RFID and Mobile solutions and a global provider of Supply Chain solutions to enterprises, announced today that its RFID and Mobile Division has received an order for a self-scanning solution, to be used in a pilot program conducted by a food retail chain in Israel.

Self-scanning enables shoppers to tally up their purchases while in the store, and then bag and pay without cashier assistance.  BOS' RFID and Mobile division will source the equipment and provide the retailer with integration services of such equipment, including scanners, wireless infrastructure, a mobile device management application and docking stations.

Yuval Viner, BOS' Co-CEO, stated: "This is part of the global automated store trend led by Amazon. We are pleased to be part of the first self-scanning pilot conducted by a food retail chain in Israel. We expect the testing to be completed in a few months."
