AT&T will present with Heavy Reading's Jim Hodges and Sonus' Dan Teichman on the more technical requirements for RTC to be delivered in the Cloud, including:

  • How the adoption of a microservices architecture increases scale, performance and flexibility;
  • How to leverage graphics processing units (GPUs) for media transcoding; and
  • The benefits of a complete Cloud solution.

"There is a lot of confusing information from vendors on how to successfully move RTC to the Cloud, primarily focused on security, scalability and performance concerns," said Kevin Riley, Sonus CTO.  "Sonus designed this series to educate customers on the optimal way to deploy RTC in the Cloud so they can make the most informed decisions when implementing their cloud migration strategy."
