Fuze Positioned as a Leader in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, Worldwide

Fuze (formerly ThinkingPhones), the leader in global voice, video, messaging, and collaboration, today announced that Gartner (News - Alert), Inc. has positioned the Company as a Leader in its 2016 Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, Worldwide report. Selection criteria measuring the completeness of vision and ability to execute spanned six broad functions: voice and telephony, conferencing, messaging, presence and instant messaging, clients, and communication-enabled applications. Fuze was one of 16 vendors evaluated in the report.

"Collaboration and connectivity are at the heart of improving today's business processes," said Steve Kokinos, CEO, Fuze. "We've seen an explosion of enterprises looking for tools that are simple to use, nurture productivity, and are reliable and secure. We believe our recognition as a Leader in Gartner's report reinforces the investment Fuze has made in enhancing the user experience for today's modern, connected worker. Furthermore, we believe it validates our vision for rethinking enterprise communications, web collaboration, and video conferencing as we know it."

A global, unified communications as a service (UCaaS) platform, Fuze empowers productivity and delivers insights across enterprises with mobility-enabled and analytics-driven business communications. By seamlessly integrating voice, video, messaging, and collaboration into a simple, elegant experience, Fuze is designed for the end user with the enterprise-grade strength that leading businesses require to make a successful move to UCaaS. Enterprise cloud voice provides traditional PBX (News - Alert) functionality of an on-premise telecom solution with access to all business communications tools - presence, IM, SMS, MMS, audio and video conferencing, web collaboration - from any device using a single work phone number. A tightly integrated group chat platform powers asynchronous collaboration between individuals and groups inside and outside an organization. HD audio and video conferencing applications help distributed workforces perform and communicate across teams and with clients and vendors with a consistent user experience across mobile and desktop systems. Real-time screen and content sharing helps teams collaborate more efficiently across multiple office locations with remote desktop control and markup tools.

"Trustpilot is a fast-paced company with employees spanning across six different international locations, so call quality was a huge factor when selecting a new communications partner to grow with us," said Heather Jensen, Director of Internal IT. "With Fuze, we have found the quality, flexibility, and agility we need that matches how we operate as a company."

In the first half of 2016, Fuze expanded its presence in Europe with new offices in Munich, Zurich, and Madrid. It also grew across Asia Pacific with the opening of a new Sydney office and three new data centers in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Sydney. The international investments marked a key milestone in Fuze's mission to dominate the UCaaS market with a global, cloud-based communication platform supported by a world-class infrastructure of data centers.

According to Gartner, "enterprise planners should look for expanded global capacity, better customer service and project management, an expanded set of APIs, and the ability to deploy a richer set of UC functionality led by mobility and video. The larger UCaaS providers can now provide professional services, project management, local telephony services, customer support and import/export authority in dozens of country markets."
