Fortemedia Brings ForteVoice® iS-800 Advanced Voice Processing to Samsung Galaxy C5 and C7
Fortemedia today announced it is providing ForteVoice® iS-800
advanced voice processing, multi-media recording and barge-in features
to the recently announced Galaxy C5 and C7. The Galaxy C5 and C7 include
two microphones that provide superior voice quality, even in noisy
environment. ForteVoice® provides advanced noise suppression
that greatly reduces intrusive background noise in the calling mode,
including support for VoLTE.
Fortemedia's latest generation ForteVoice® iS800 uses
Advanced Microphone Array Processing (AMAP) and newly developed Smart
Spectrum (News - Alert) Analysis (SSA) technology to ensure high-quality voice calls
not only in traditional handset and hands-free mode, but also extends
its support to both narrow band and wide band ear headset mode, and
narrow band Bluetooth headset mode for calling applications. ForteVoice®
iS800 provides the core technology that ensures
Samsung (News - Alert) Galaxy C5 and C7 meet all China Wireless Operator standards for
advanced voice processing.
Fortemedia also provides the enabling voice processing technology for
the Galaxy C5 and C7 model's innovative multi-media voice recording
features in "Interview Mode". Interview Moe allows users to record a
conversation between two people and eliminate background noises from
other attendees.

introduces the very first and original "Barge-in" feature to the Galaxy
C5 and C7 model to further enhance user experience. The Barge-in feature
allows user to answer or reject a phone call simply by speaking "accept"
or "reject", improving safety when driving and is more convenient
feature in the hands-free mode.
