The National Football League Players Association Partners with Teamworks
Teamworks,
a leading provider of mobile collaboration and communication software
for athletic organizations, is proud to announce a new partnership with
the National Football League Players Association. Teamworks will
modernize internal communication and allow for players to access
information instantaneously on mobile devices as the NFLPA preserves and
enhances the democratic involvement of its members. The announcement
reinforces the NFLPA's position as one of the most advanced labor
associations in the world and Teamworks as the preeminent solution for
organizations looking to increase internal efficiency and capitalize on
mobile technology.
"From our negotiations and representation to the day-to-day support and
assistance we provide to our members, we do everything we can to enhance
our members' professional experience," said Don Davis, Senior Director
of Player Affairs and Development at the NFLPA. "With Teamworks, we can
communicate with every active NFL player at a moment's notice on a
mobile device, and seamlessly share important information with members
at every stage of their NFL career. Teamworks is a natural investment
for us to continue to improve players' experience, as the platform will
facilitate our services to members in a more immediate, active manner."
Having solidified its position as the go-to resource for collegiate
athletic programs, Teamworks continues to expand its software to
professional sports and other athletic organizations. Working with more
than 375 NCAA Division I teams as well as many prestigious athletic
departments including Duke, Texas, Purdue, Virginia, Ole Miss, Marquette
and Baylor, Teamworks has become a fixture of student-athletes' daily
life. As those student-athletes graduate and join professional teams,
coaches, staff and front offices are increasingly looking to adopt the
software many of their playes have already become accustomed to using.
Teamworks has already made an impact in the National Football League,
working with the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers, and Major
League Baseball, having recently announced new agreements with the
Washington Nationals and San Francisco Giants. Additionally, many
athletic-related businesses and governing bodies are applying Teamworks'
software to increase internal efficiency including the NCAA, Big Ten
Conference and Adidas Team Sales.
"The NFLPA has always been an impressive organization, uniting a maximum
of 53 players on each of the NFL's 32 teams, and remains at the
forefront of attending to its members' needs," said Teamworks Founder,
Zach Maurides. "Our platform is so well aligned with the NFLPA's mission
and from the very beginning has been designed to enhance players'
complete experience, on and off of the field. At any stage of their
career, players now know that the information they need is accessible in
the palm of their hand, effectively eliminating potential
miscommunications and catering to the connected, mobile world we live in
today."

About the NFL Players Association
The National Football League Players Association is the union for
professional football players in the National Football League.
Established in 1956, the NFLPA has a long history of assuring proper
recognition and representation of players' interests. The NFLPA has
shown that it will do whatever is necessary to assure that the rights of
players are protected-including ceasing to be a union, if necessary, as
it did in 1989. In 1993, the NFLPA again was officially recognized as
the union representing the players, and negotiated a landmark Collective
Bargaining Agreement with the NFL. The current CBA will govern the sport
through 2020. Learn more at www.nflpa.com.
