Kasasa® Announces Share Kasasa™, New Online Referral Platform

Award-winning financial technology and marketing provider Kasasa®, formerly BancVue®, announced a new online referral platform, Share KasasaTM. The platform helps accountholders refer family and friends to community financial institutions (CFIs) that offer Kasasa accounts. As compared to other refer-a-friend platforms, Share Kasasa is free for institutions offering Kasasa.

Share Kasasa is built for the platforms consumers use daily to engage one another, focusing on the high usage of tablets and mobile devices while also supporting desktop engagement. Share Kasasa integrates with social media and CFIs' core data to automate notification, matching, qualification and reward payments. Each Kasasa accountholder receives a unique link to share with friends. Once their friends open a new Kasasa account and qualify for rewards, both the accountholder and the friend receive an Amazon.com (News - Alert)® Gift Card.

Each institution receives a co-branded microsite for accountholders and their friends to interact with Share Kasasa, increasing engagement and adding another benefit to the institutions' Kasasa accounts. The entire marketing program is co-branded with each institution's logo and program details. Share Kasasa allows CFIs to tune their acquisition cost by offering incentives from $1 - $200, and since the platform only rewards new, engaged accountholders, every dollar spent is cost justified.

By providing premium, rewards-based checking and savings accounts free to consumers, Kasasa enables CFIs to increase customer retention, reduce overall expenses and encourage accountholder engagement. More than 340 community banks and credit unions accounts across 47 states offer Kasasa checking and savings accounts.
