Eastvale, California, Chooses Accela Civic Platform to Streamline City Operations
Accela,
the leading provider of cloud-based civic engagement solutions for
government, announced today that the City of Eastvale, California, has
selected the Accela
Civic Platform to upgrade its current technology infrastructure. The
City will work with Accela (News - Alert) and its certified professional services
partner Woolpert on the citywide upgrade.
Accela will modernize Eastvale's software foundation in a rapid rollout,
which will include integration with the Springbrook software finance and
administration solutions that the City already uses. The project will be
implemented quickly because Accela
recently acquired Springbrook to expand the government functions
supported by the Civic Platform and alignment of the software is already
underway.
Eastvale, one of the fastest growing cities in California, became one of
the newest cities in Western Riverside County in 2010. Accela will
provide Eastvale with the Civic Platform to modernize its technology
foundation, as well as Accela olutions that include Land
Management, Licensing
& Case Management, and the newly integrated Finance
& Administration.
As a result, residents and businesses will find it easier and faster to
apply for building permits or business licenses, look into city budgets
and property taxes, and conduct other business with the City. The Accela
Civic Platform helps cities streamline these operations and makes them
available online and on mobile applications to simplify citizen
engagement.
"We are excited to work with the City of Eastvale as they implement
Accela solutions in efforts to provide efficiency and transparency to
citizens and businesses alike," said Maury Blackman, Accela President
and CEO. "By implementing our Civic Platform, Eastvale will have the
ability to enhance relations between the City and its people."
Accela and Woolpert will begin working with the City immediately to
implement the Civic Platform and other Accela solutions. Once rolled
out, Eastvale and its residents will benefit greatly from significantly
improved efficiency and transparency of city business.
