Expway and Huawei Successfully Conclude Interoperability Tests Between LTE Broadcast Middleware and Packet Core Network
Global LTE (News - Alert) leading solution provider Huawei has partnered with LTE
Broadcast specialist Expway to guarantee full interoperability between
Expway's middleware and Huawei's (News - Alert) advanced packet core solution.
LTE Broadcast interoperability is of key importance at this moment when
commercial deployments and trials of key services will occur in various
part of the world.
"Huawei is dedicated to improving LTE broadcast network efficiency and
reliability in order to help operators around the world reduce the cost
of delivering content of any type," said Justin Ju, Director of Huawei
Video Solution. "Our interoperability tests demonstrate that solutions
already exist today for deploying a wide range of devices on any LTE
modem."
The interoperability tests were achieved using a Huaei C8817 device
running Expway Middleware.

provider such as Huawei to ensure a full, end-to-end solution for LTE

Expway will demonstrate the capability of its LTE Broadcast middleware
at the Mobile World Congress (News - Alert) in Barcelona, Spain, in Stand 8.1.D41.

Middleware controls the LTE modem, and receives and decodes the LTE
