MiFi AutoVPN simplifies Virtual Private Network or ‘VPN’ configuration and maintenance and offers compatibility with leading VPN server gateways, apart from providing another level of security for mobile broadband users. NovaDrive is a yet another application that helps in storing and accessing files from local storage, removable storage, or cloud storage from multiple locations on any device that supports a browser and Wi-Fi connection.
The application includes a number of security and location features that extend performance beyond storage and retrieval to the cloud. The third solution is MiFi PhotoSharing Application with Eye-Fi, using which the users can easily and instantly upload photos and video from wherever they are.
According to Rob Hadley, chief marketing officer, Novatel Wireless, the MiFi software platform provides a universe of potential for new applications across multiple markets, and offers new revenue opportunities for operators and enables markets and usage patterns that have never before existed. Hadley continued that with the unprecedented MiFi Landing Page, on-board Linux-based application processing support, an on-board Web server and media storage capabilities, the MiFi software platform provides a variety of exciting and innovative opportunities for consumer and SMB application development.
