that the company will be showcasing its complete product portfolio for new mobile radio and wireless technologies at the Mobile World Congress
to be held Feb. 15-18.
The company said that it will focus this year on LTE (News
) in the FDD and TDD modes of operation. At the Mobile World Congress, it will unveil an extensive package of new features for the R&S CMW500 wideband radio communication tester launched in 2009.
All the new features, as stated, are aimed at delivering maximum flexibility for the mobile radio industry. The R&S CMW500 is designed to address the customer needs, whether it is RF tests in signaling mode for CDMA2000 (1xRTT and 1xEV-DO), WiMAX (News
) and GSM, or measurements for implementing a smooth handover between LTE and WCDMA or LTE and CDMA2000.
In addition, Rohde & Schwarz (News
) also said that it will showcase its generator solutions for LTE base station tests as well as network coverage measurements for TETRA.
Rohde & Schwarz’ solutions for LTE, HSPA+ and WiMAX are made available for both manufacturers and network operators and includes from the measurements required during RF and protocol development including conformance testing, production and network optimization.
