Flash in Barcelona

A flash will shine bright in Barcelona.  At the Mobile World Congress (News - Alert) from February 24 to February 27 in Barcelona, Flash Networks will be demonstrating their clientless subscriber monetization and engagement platform named Layer 8.  The purpose of the demonstration is to show how mobile users can work with over the top (OTT) players to achieve revenue and obtain personal account and billing information.  It will be demonstrated in Deutsche Telekom’s booth in hall 3, stand K30 and Flash NetworkD60. 

Flash Networks (News - Alert), a global leader of mobile internet optimization and monetization solutions, has offices in North America, Europe, Israel, Latin America and Asia. They service over one billion subscribers with Airtel (News - Alert), Orange, SKT, TIM, T-mobile, Telefonica , Vodaphone and  Bharti as customers.   Users are able to increase their network speed and optimize video and web traffic with the Flash Networks’ Harmony Mobile Internet Gateway (News - Alert).  The Harmony offers users the ability to interact with their customers due to an enhanced search and accrue revenue from search and advertising.

Layer 8 has shown rapid extensive growth within the first six months to over 10 million subscribers and the highest number of users noted in Asia-Pacific and Europe. When used with a location-based advertising campaign it resulted in a click through rate of 28 percent with 42 percent of them converting.   The typical click through rate for a campaign is 1 percent.  These results demonstrate the ability of Layer 8 to attract potential subscribers and market to subscribers in an effective manner without being annoying  by allowing the operator to be a publisher and tailor their marketing to fall in line with their subscriber’s interests.
