NXP Software Showcases LifeVibes Smart Player Solutions at MWC

NXP Software, a recent participant at Mobile World Congress (News - Alert) (MWC) 2012, showcased its new smart player solutions for TV and Video on Demand (VOD).

According to the company, the new smart player solutions offer easy access to content from any device and enable exciting experiences like social TV. The video player can also be combined with social control panel that lets people watch and interact with friends at the same time.

With LifeVibes social TV solution, users can drag and drop between the player and the social control panel. If users like what they are watching, they can drag it to the second screen to chat about it on Facebook (News - Alert) or watch with friends.

In addition to smart player solutions, NXP Software displayed LifeVibes QuickPlayer, a solution for the rapid deployment of secure, premium content services across most versions of iOS and Android (News - Alert). This innovative LifeVibes QuickPlayer brings living-room quality audio and video to tablets and Smartphones and allows end-users to enjoy premium (secured) movies, TV and events.

In related news, NXP Software has reached a major milestone with its LifeVibes solutions now in two out of three Android devices.
