Telcordia, a dealer in development of mobile, broadband and enterprise communications software and services, asserted that it is demonstrating its industry expertise at the Mobile World Congress 2011. The company has also arranged for a joint presentation with Uninor entitled “Driving Revenue and Service Innovation in the India Market with Real-Time Charging and Service Creation.”
Officials from both the companies will be present at the demo to chat about how Communications Service Providers (CSPs) can effectively attract customers, capture new markets and drive revenue by providing ‘the Experience that Differentiates’. CSPs by attending the demonstration can learn about new ways to attract customers, capture new markets and drive revenue growth.
Michael Wojcik, president of service delivery solutions at Telcordia (News - Alert) stated that today’s market remains incredibly competitive, and CSPs need to offer smarter, more targeted services as part of their mobile broadband offerings.
“Data has become a huge commodity, and CSPs need to effectively convert this into sustainable profitability, through personalized service offerings, bundles and a high level of customer experience. These evolving challenges continue to be an area of strength for Telcordia who offer CSPs innovative service solutions that are flexible and reliable,” he said.
CSPs are facing a lot of challenges to cater to customers’ demands for a seamless, faultless experience in text messaging. The spread of mobile number portability is one example of how the international message exchange between the world's more than 1,000 mobile operators has grown in complexity. There is also a need to support strong mobile messaging demand with a cost-effective, streamlined interconnection solution.
Telcordia claimed that its Message Hub solution lets mobile operators leverage existing multilateral agreements with hundreds of mobile operators to simplify their international message exchange which makes connecting subscribers with other operators around the globe more easy and efficient. Operators with this facility can quickly extend the reach of their message service while cutting costs and time.
With the growing complexities involved in the evolving 2.5G, 3G and 4G networks, the Telcordia Mobile OSS solutions can enable CSPs to be agile enough to introduce changes through the technology evolution.
