“Nothing in this world is as powerful as an idea whose time has come.”

Nadji Tehrani, by any measurement, is a person driven by powerful ideas. With a deep devotion to originality, he is a visionary who for more than two decades has been able to move powerful new ideas from the laboratory to the marketplace in science, business and industry.

As founder of Technology Marketing Corporation in 1972, he has been publisher of more than a dozen periodicals, books and buyer’s guides in the high-tech field, including radiation curing. In so doing, he has established himself as the preeminent spokesman in these important and highly scientific fields.

Since 1982, he has gained even more distinction as the nation’s most recognized spokesman for the dynamic teleservices industry. As executive group publisher and editor-in-chief of Customer Interaction Solutions (formerly Telemarketing®) magazine, he is an acknowledged leader in bringing this exciting, multibillion-dollar marketing discipline to the forefront of acceptance in America, as well as other nations around the world. As an industry leader once said, “Nadji has done more for the telemarketing industry than anyone.” Among the eminent subscribers of Customer Interaction Solutions magazine, one can find many members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives as well as leading universities, such as the Harvard Graduate School of Business.

Telemarketing magazine, which began in 1982, has served as the “bible” in helping companies around the globe, and tens of thousands of people have learned how to increase their sales, deliver superior customer service and build market share like never before possible. The magazine has remained number one in its field since its inception, and is now known as Customer Interaction Solutions to better reflect the wide spectrum of businesses it serves, which now includes CRM (customer relationship management), e-sales and e-service.

As a leader in the fast-growing information industry, Nadji Tehrani’s educational background is equally impressive. Educated in Europe (Sorbonne: The University of Paris), the Middle East and the United States, Nadji has an undergraduate degree in chemistry and has completed graduate studies in business administration.

Before starting his own company in 1972, Nadji held a number of important research, marketing and management positions at E. I. DuPont, Phillip Morris and Stauffer Chemical.

Although Nadji is multilingual, the language he speaks most fluently is the one that business people all over the world understand—that of increased productivity and enhanced profits through teleservices.

In February 1998, TMC introduced INTERNET TELEPHONY® magazine, the authority on voice, video, fax and data convergence. INTERNET TELEPHONY provides complete coverage of this exciting, emerging technology that will revolutionize communications. The magazine went on to launch its own highly successful show, INTERNET TELEPHONY EXPO™, the first of which was held in October 1999.

Nadji is the founder of the Global Call Center Outsourcing Summit™, which is the successor to TBT™ (Telemarketing and Business Communications), the world’s original and most comprehensive exhibition and conference for CRM, Internet telephony and contact center industries. Over 150,000 top corporate executives are trained annually through Customer Interaction Solutions magazine, INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine, the biannual INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO and the Global Call Center Outsourcing Summit.

Among many of his international achievements, Nadji was once selected as one of America’s top 500 corporate executives to visit the Kremlin Palace and exchange views with a distinguished delegation of Russian business executives headed by then-President Mikhail Gorbachev.

In 2003, Nadji Tehrani was inducted to the ATA Hall of Fame. The American Teleservices Association is the only association dedicated to the teleservices industry.
