Peter Brockmann is a seasoned technology marketing executive with experience in business development, corporate marketing, product marketing, competitive analysis, marketing communications, branding and Internet marketing. His career has spanned 3Com, Nortel Networks, startups, enterprise middleware companies and application service providers. Particular technologies he has supported or focused on include convergence applications, VoIP, LAN switching, PBX, ATM, wireless LANs, VPN, routers, business process routers, AS2 and UCCnet item synchronization services among others.
Today, Brockmann is the President of Brockmann & Company, a high-tech marketing consulting company. Clients are able to accelerate their growth through thought leadership and insight into markets, channels and positioning. Prior to forming Brockmann & Company, Brockmann was the Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development for FirstHand Technologies, an innovator in mobile VoIP software. Brockmann faciliated a rebranding, repositioning and refocusing of the company that led to a successful C round of investment by Canadian venture capitalists.
