Allan Baw is a co-founder of Stoke and serves as director of product management, where he focuses on the development and market delivery of mobility and fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) solutions. With nearly 15-years of experience, he has held several leading engineering and product management roles in both cellular service provider and networking technology vendor environments.
Prior to Stoke, Baw co-founded two other early stage startups—M-Networks and Verve Networks—and was instrumental in driving the development of FMC technologies. He also spent several years at Sprint Cellular and implemented the nation’s first CDMA network in 1995. He later played a critical role in delivering a VoATM-based soft-switch while at TeraBridge Technologies, a subsidiary of Newbridge / Alcatel.
Baw is a frequent speaker at FMC industry events and is a contributing columnist on TMCNet. He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign.
