LiveViewGPS Introduces First Prepaid Mobile Phone Locate Card at CES 2013
The combination of mobile phones and GPS has introduced many tools for individuals, businesses and public organizations. Everyone from Facebook (News - Alert) to your local emergency first responders can use this technology to find your location.
The LiveViewGPS prepaid Mobile Phone Locate Card is the first of its kind in the world, giving anyone who has a phone with this technology the ability to use it as a safety location device 24 hours a day.
The system uses the technology in your phone to pinpoint your location. This can be used for single or multiple phones. By using Assisted GPS and cell phone network data, it can discretely monitor the activated device.
CEO George Karonis explained, “Because location accuracy is dependent on a variety of criteria such as cell phone reception, GPS settings, environmental conditions and more, results can vary from a few feet to several thousand feet.”
To activate your mobile phone, one must buy a prepaid LiveViewGPS Mobile Phone Locate card online or at a retailer. The user then signs up online by selecting a plan on the company website and registering as many phones as s/he wants to locate with the service.
Once the activation is verified, the phone can be located anytime on a personal computer. It doesn’t require software, an app, contract or any other additional hardware.
“For businesses, keeping track of a mobile workforce is easier than ever. Mobile Phone Locate is a cost-effective, in-the-field management solution that's fast, easy and reliable. It offers value-driven, on demand mobile location services businesses can trust. Deployment is easy across one or 1000 phones, with no additional hardware to purchase or battery draining apps to install,” Karonis added.
LiveViewGPS is a location-based service (LBS) company that specializes in providing wireless location solutions. It has customers in the Fortune 100 as well as federal, state and local government agencies.
The company also services law enforcement, family safety and asset tracking and monitoring for businesses.
