People who want to access local radio stations on the go can download the 'Pure Connect' app directly on their smartphones.

 Pure, a consumer electronics manufacturer, has introduced a second-generation 'Pure Connect' app exclusively for the iPad and iPhone, and Android (News - Alert) devices.

'Pure Connect' has been developed with content and music discovery to deliver a truly immersive and engaging user-experience. The application allows music lovers to access several radio stations, on-demand programs and podcasts, as well as millions of music tracks via the Pure Music subscription service.

The company is presenting this app is at CES (News - Alert) 2013, which began today.

Pure's new Jongo multiroom music system is the DNA of the free Pure Connect program. The Pure Jongo system is the affordable multiroom audio product and allows the user to start with a single speaker and add more Jongo products for perfectly synchronized audio all around their home.

Pure Connect also provides content from Audioboo’s new initiative, In Their Own Words, which allows content creators such as musicians, authors, comedians and more to connect more closely with their fans by sharing all aspects of their creative process through the spoken word.

All content is kept synced in the cloud and users can access their content intuitively from all devices wherever and whenever they want including PCs, Macs, iOS and Android devices , or any Pure Music streaming product linked to Pure Connect.
