SkyCross Intros VersiTune-LTE Antenna with New MatchTune Technology
In the current market climate, many mobile device developers are looking for ways to enhance the performance and LTE (News - Alert) capabilities of their products, and at the same time reduce form factor and manufacturing costs.
To keep up with this new trend, SkyCross, global developer of advanced antenna and RF solutions, has introduced VersiTune-LTE Antenna to achieve both operators’ LTE and carrier aggregation requirements.
VersiTune-LTE Antenna is supported by the company’s patented iMAT, VersiTune-LTE and MatchTune technologies. The new Antenna promises to offer an advanced tunable antenna solution for multi-band 4G LTE devices in a single iMAT antenna structure.
According to SkyCross (News - Alert), the newly launched VersiTune-LTE is the very first active tuning antenna product that supports LTE and carrier aggregation, and no other active tuning technology can match this performance.

In addition, SkyCross is utilizing the VersiTune technology to actively tune an antenna from frequency band to frequency band quite accurately, so that many bands can be satisfied by a single structure.
This specification delivers better and broader performance across 12 or more operating frequency bands, with optimized MIMO performance for 4G LTE in smartphones, tablets and USB modems in one-quarter the size of conventional antennas.
