ESCORT's New Range of Products Showcased at CES
ESCORT Inc. is a designer and manufacturer of automotive accessories. They recently made an announcement concerning two new products introduced at the 2012 International CES (News - Alert). They also displayed ESCORT Live which is a real-time ticket protection network. Also on display was ESCORT’s maiden mobile fleet office solution, ESCORT SmartOffice, and ESCORT MobileTV which is a connected Mobile Digital TV receiver.
In a release, John Larson, ESCORT President and CEO, said, "It's widely known that ESCORT provides the most advanced radar and laser defense on the market. We've raised that bar with ESCORT Live and continue to redefine 'driving smarter' with new technologies like Smart Office and Mobile TV."
ESCORT SmartOffice consolidates complete office functionality into a single, lightweight, connected mobile device. Based on familiar Microsoft (News - Alert) Windows 7 PS and complete PC functionality, SmartOffice includes navigation, point-of-sale credit card processing, fleet vehicle management, remote inventory/CRM management, barcode/RFID reader, reverse camera option and fleet transportation/logistics monitoring. SmartOffice gives drivers and service providers all of their office tools with business solutions, delivered in the field in real time.
Among the other ESCORT CES announcements was one about MobileTV. This is a connected Mobile Digital TV (MDTV) receiver that instantly enables users to stream digital TV via their WIFI-enabled smartphone, iPad or similar video-capable device. ESCORT MobileTV does not use the device’s data link, but its own MDTV through WIFI.
ESCORT also demonstrated their ESCORT Live ticket protection network.
