Brightstar Showcases Innovative Services for the Wireless Industry at 2012 CES
Brightstar (News - Alert), a wireless distributor and provider of services and solutions for the wireless industry, announced that it will showcase fresh solutions at the 2012 International CES (News - Alert).
The fresh solutions are expected to address the entire life cycle of the device. This is a significant step for Brightstar that has continued to evolve and now offers more than 100 customized services and solutions to wireless manufacturers, operators, retailers, enterprises, and consumers.
“For years, key players in the wireless industry have turned to Brightstar to manage their device supply chain,” said Marcelo Claure, chairman and CEO at Brightstar, in a statement.
“But now with more than 100 customized services and solutions, we can also help our customers build consumer loyalty, drive more sales, and simplify the complexities of the entire life cycle of a device – from activation and billing, to insurance, repairs and even trade in and buy back,” Claure added.
Brightstar will be showcasing several of its services to help its customers face the new challenges presented by the accelerating pace of technology and complexities that it brings.
The company will demonstrate device insurance and extended warranty services. Through eSecuritel, its insurance company, Brightstar provides operators, dealers, and OEMs with customized device protection programs.
The company will also showcase trade-in and buy back services. Currently, Brightstar collects, refurbishes, and resells wireless handsets, providing end-users with a seamless experience, while reducing churn and increasing profitability for operators and retailers.
It will also announce the virtual inventory program that gives retailers a competitive advantage by enabling them to provide the same level of choice as online wireless retailers without the costs of owning and managing inventory.
Brightstar’s retail management services offer solutions to manage a retailer's wireless category, provide extensive product training, and provide expert wireless sales people to acquire higher activations and increase sales.
Recently, Brightstar announced its distribution agreement with HTC (News - Alert). Brightstar will initially distribute five devices, including the HTC Flyer tablet, HTC Sensation, HTC Wildfire, HTC Desire and HTC ChaCha as part of the agreement.
