MobileIron Showcases Enterprise Mobile Device Management and Security at CES
MobileIron, a provider of mobile device management and security solutions, will be demonstrating how its enterprise mobile device management and security platform work in the Verizon booth at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES (News - Alert)), currently taking place in Las Vegas.
Built from the ground up for global companies, the MobileIron platform enables companies to secure and manage mobile devices and apps, increasing mobility and overall efficiency of their business.
With the rising demand for reliable and secure mobility at enterprises, IT is challenged with several issues such as supporting multiple operating systems, securing enterprise data on both corporate and employee-owned devices, as well as building and delivering mobile apps. Luckily, this company provides the most scalable solution for mobile device management, security and enterprise app storefronts.
TMCnet had the news that MobileIron recently released the mobile device management platform MobileIron 4.5, which offers multiple innovative features such as Android (News - Alert) 4.0 security; encryption enforcement policies for Samsung GALAXY devices and all other devices running Android 3.0 and above; fully secure SSL VPN connectivity; Exchange account configuration with certificates; a single Android client for all devices; prompt notice when Android administrative privileges are removed; and hardware lockdown which enables IT to completely disable hardware capabilities through MobileIron.
In 2012, the mobile device management provider plans to further build out their AppConnect partner base to take full advantage of the growing importance of apps in the enterprise, said Adam Stein (News - Alert) at MobileIron. “Another area where we’ll work even more closely with our 1,200+ customers and 200+ partners globally is around advanced yet unified security of multi-OS smartphones and tablets.”
Want to see these mobile device management solutions for yourself? The company is currently showcasing its products at Verizon (News - Alert) Booth #30259, Pod #1, in the South Hall Upper Level of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The demonstration will be held at 12-3 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11 and 1-4 p.m. on Friday, January 13.
In addition, Adam Stein from MobileIron will be speaking at TMC’s upcoming ITEXPO (News - Alert) East, which is taking place from Jan 31-Feb 3, 2012 in the Miami Beach Convention Center. Stein will be speaking at a session entitled, “Mobile Virtualization: Two Virtual Phones, One Single Mobile Devices.”
