Abstract:

This report analyzes more than 100 survey respondents to understand the current state of cloud adoption in general, and cloud storage adoption particularly. We found a number of surprises (more people have implemented or plan to implement cloud storage than any other cloud computing initiative, including software as a service), as well as confirmation on a few widely held assumptions (security/loss of control remains the single biggest objection to cloud storage).
