Abstract:

Transitioning a web system is a big undertaking and not something to be taken lightly. DonorsChoose.org is a website where public school teachers post their best ideas for classroom projects that their schools can’t afford. Donors browse the projects, find ones that inspire them and help bring them to life with their credit card. After a project is fully funded, we purchase all the materials, ship them to the classroom and then the donors receive a thank you back from the classroom in the form of digital photos and thank you cards.
