Sprint, BlueKite Announce Enhanced Mobility
Solutions
Sprint (NYSE: FON) (NYSE: PCS) ,
which operates the largest all-digital, all-PCS nationwide network and
is the fastest-growing wireless carrier, and BlueKite,
a wireless Internet software provider, announced the availability of
enhanced wireless connectivity software designed to make mobile
connection to the Internet and Intranets even faster and more
convenient. The software offers a universal method of wireless
connectivity, offering Sprint PCS business customers faster connection
on even more devices and operating systems to help increase productivity
while away from the office.
The Sprint PCS Dialer 3.0 software incorporates bandwidth
optimization by BlueKite to wirelessly enable faster Internet access on
laptops and handheld devices using Windows 2000 and Windows CE operating
systems via the Sprint PCS Wireless Web Modem by Sierra Wireless (Aircard
510) or a Sprint PCS Connection Kit. The Dialer 3.0 software now allows
Sprint PCS customers to wirelessly connect via handheld Windows CE
devices including the Compaq iPAQ and Hewlett Packard Jornada 720, as
well as Palm III and Palm V series handhelds.
The enhanced software provides Sprint PCS business customers with
clear, wireless access to enterprise content and applications, including
corporate email, Intranets, corporate directories and sales and service
eBusiness tools. Mobile workers have the ability to stay connected
between or during meetings, sales calls and plane flights with secure,
fast wireless access to real-time information anywhere on the Sprint PCS
nationwide network.

Sprint PCS customers may download the Dialer 3.0 software or upgrade
their current Dialer 2.0 software at SprintPCS.com at no charge.
Customers may download the software by logging in to Manage My Account
from the SprintPCS.com homepage, selecting the My Services tab and
clicking on the Download Software link. The software may also be
accessed via the Sprint PCS Wireless Web link located at the bottom of
the SprintPCS.com homepage, then selecting Sprint PCS Wireless Web
Connection. Customers then may click on Existing Users, which will take
them to the Software Download Area.
