Offering advanced functionality for a different kind of smart phone experience, Motorola and AT&T (News - Alert) Inc. have announced the availability of the MOTO Q Global with Windows Mobile 6.1, one of the first devices featuring the latest mobile software on sale to the public.



 
Adorned with a bold pinstripe design, the device features an attractive metallic edging and a robust feature set.
 
Also, the new Q is loaded with features such as Good Mobile Messaging and BlackBerry Connect, an Opera browser and Documents To Go from DataViz3. This lets users to create and edit Microsoft (News - Alert) Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files as well as view Adobe PDF files.
 
The new Q brings a bit of class and a little something different to its users with features such as Windows Mobile 6.1, which makes it easier for users to stay connected and receive up-to-the minute updates. They can also find things of importance quickly, and make use of threaded SMS for chat-like texting. New abilities such as a sliding panel home screen design have also been added.
 
Integrated GPS also gives consumers seamless access to location-based services with AT&T Navigator for use both in the U.S. and abroad, including spoken and text-based turn-by-turn directions and business finder capabilities. With TeleNav (News - Alert) Track, a fully hosted GPS-based workforce-management solution, the device also helps business owners manage their mobile workforce.
