eMobiStudio, whose applications specialize in not being device-specific or platform-centric, is now offering MemoryUp Standard Edition v2.2. This is an upgrade to its award-winning product, MemoryUpv2.0 with improved optimization.

The new algorithm is configured to automatically tweak the RAM refreshing rate, so as to avoid unnecessary extra load on the mobile’s operating system.

"Not only can MemoryUp boost up the overall performance of smartphone and BlackBerry (News - Alert),” said eMobiStudio CTO, Daniel Zhang, “It can also rescue our customers' mobile devices by fixing unexpected cell phone crashes and fatal memory errors."

Harnessing the power of the Java Virtual Machine, this application is targeted directly at Smartphones and Blackberry's and works by analyzing the J2ME applications running on the phone, then calculating the space that is not required by those programs.

This space is then recovered and distributed amongst other applications that require this particular resource. This whole process of identifying and reallocating the space resource will effectively improve the performance of the phone quite dramatically.

MemoryUp has been given a number of awards, and received positive recognition, from the industry itself; phone manufacturers, software sellers, and other agencies. Handango (News - Alert), the world's leading provider of mobile content, calls MemoryUp 'the latest and greatest application' and 'a must-have for your smartphone '. Sony Ericsson (News - Alert), one of the world's largest mobile device producers, ranks MemoryUp the top selling application of its P1-Choice program, a program designed to deliver best mobile applications to Sony Ericsson mobile device users.

MemoryUp Standard Edition v2.2 fully supports four different languages (English, German, Italian, Spanish) and is available for $13.99 for the Symbian (News - Alert) edition and $14.99 for the BlackBerry edition.
