TapRoot Systems, a provider of embedded software products and services for smart devices, has developed foundation software solutions for Texas Instruments' (News - Alert) (TI) OMAP35x platform.



 
TapRoot has developed a range of solutions in technology areas, such as Wireless LAN, cellular connectivity, WiMAX, and board support package (BSP) development. To meet the needs of OMAP35x developers, the TapRoot solutions support Linux and Windows CE in addition to Windows Mobile and Symbian (News - Alert) OS.

TapRoot's portfolio features products such as LinuxTel, a robust, production grade telephony stack for Linux-based devices. Leveraging LinuxTel, developers will be able to add 2G and 3G cellular support to their devices to enable anywhere, anytime data and voice connectivity.
