Antenna Software and Oracle (News - Alert) have announced the availability of AMPower SALES for Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM.

AMPower SALES has been developed on the Antenna Mobility Platform (AMP), and is especially designed to enhance and extend PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM business processes for mobile sales organizations using BlackBerry (News - Alert), Palm, or Windows Mobile devices.

Mike Betzer, vice president of CRM strategy at Oracle, noted that PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM customers are looking for a mobile solution that is tailored to their specific needs. He added in a press release, “With Antenna, we provide sales representatives with a seamless extension of their PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM system, and optimize it for use on a wireless device, enabling them to sell more effectively and support customers more efficiently.”

Betzer explained that using AMPower SALES for PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM, sales representatives have timely and relevant information at their fingertips, as data is stored on the mobile device, and the information remains active and accessible on mobile device—even if a representative is out of a wireless coverage area—and is automatically synched when a wireless connection is available.

“The beauty of AMPower SALES for PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM is that it's simple, contextual and a pleasure to use. The mobile application gives sales people an up-to-the minute view of their customers and opportunities, which enables more effective working and a more profitable business,” stated Jim Somers, vice president of marketing at Antenna Software.

AMPower SALES is expected to mobilize PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM through pre-built Web Services. The key functions of AMPower SALES for PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM include: account management, opportunity management, contact management, lead management, calendar management, task management and call reporting.
