iHello, FrontRange Solutions Offer CRM Voice
Application For Mobile Salespeople
iHello Inc., a provider
of speech-enabled applications for the mobile workforce, and FrontRange
Solutions Inc., a leader in customer
relationship management (CRM) and customer service and support software,
announced a new voice application to provide mobile salespeople
access to FrontRange's CRM solution, GoldMine.
As a member of
FrontRange Solutions Technology Partner program, iHello will work with
FrontRange to integrate and jointly market its products through
FrontRange's reseller channel. The agreement marks a major advance in
the race to give mobile workers complete interaction with every aspect
of sales, using state-of-the-art voice recognition.
iHello's product, iHello Voice SalesForce, is designed to boost
the productivity of salespeople on the road, by connecting them
instantly to all account data. In a single voice session, the mobile
worker can make multiple customer calls, send emails, update activities,
and add to an account history, all by following simple voice prompts.
The system also centralizes the work of a mobile sales team, giving
sales managers real-time reports of the team's progress.
"iHello Voice SalesForce is compelling because it seamlessly
weaves CRM into the salesperson's daily workflow. We foresee demand
exploding for mobile workforce voice applications, with the overall
market size reaching $2 billion by 2005," observed Mark Plakias,
Senior Vice President Communications and Infrastructure at the Kelsey
Group.
Dana Buys, Chairman of FrontRange Solutions, agreed that voice
capability represents a missing piece of the CRM puzzle. "iHello
Voice SalesForce provides a powerful and intuitive way to access
GoldMine from the road," he stated. "By making GoldMine
universally accessible, the utility of GoldMine and the quality of the
customer information it contains is vastly improved. Voice is an
integral part of our worldwide mobile strategy, and our technology
partnership with iHello allows us to remain a leader in offering
state-of-the art CRM solutions."
"The market demand from the GoldMine customer base, which
numbers over a million users, and value-added reseller channel is very
strong," explained David Asheim, Chairman and CEO of iHello.
"This demand makes FrontRange the ideal partner to launch iHello's
expanding suite of voice services for mobile salespeople."
