E-Rex, Valcom Announce Dragonfly Prototypes On Target For Beta Testing By March 29, 2002

E-Rex, Inc (OTC Bulletin Board: EREX) and Valcom Ltd announced prototypes of the new Dragonfly Information & Document Management Appliance are on target for beta testing beginning March 29th, 2002. E-Rex Management recently visited the Valcom development facility in Guelph Canada to confer with the dedicated development team, review progress on prototype construction, and finalize production arrangements for the first six prototypes.

"Our engineers have made tremendous progress on the Dragonfly, and we are confident we will be able to deliver these units on time," stated Paul MacPherson, Valcom's president.

E-Rex Management has now begun to schedule demonstrations of the new Dragonfly with potential manufacturing and marketing partners.

"The Dragonfly is the first mobile computing device that is both an information appliance and a complete document management tool. Once potential partners see the Dragonfly, we are confident that they will agree it has an incredible potential for success." Stated Carl Dilley, E-Rex President.

The company has also reserved exhibit space at Planet PDA www.planetpdaexpo.com, the Global Summit On Enterprise & Custom Volume Handheld Solutions. This mobile industry event, targeted specifically at enterprise decision makers, will be held in Boston MA from May 14th-16th. "We anticipate an excellent reception for our new product at Planet PDA, its thorough conference program and highly qualified attendees make it the perfect venue to evangelize our unique mobile office solution," stated Mitch Ackles, E-Rex's Corporate Communications Director.

E-Rex has been accepted into The Microsoft Mobile Solutions Partner Program, a worldwide initiative designed to help companies develop cutting-edge solutions using Microsoft Mobile Software, and successfully bring these solutions to market. The MSPP is designed to provide partners marketing and technical resources to help drive demand for innovations and to build exposure to prospective new customers.
