Tradelink Launches On-demand Global Trade Information Service for its Customers


HONG KONG & EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. --(Business Wire)-- Tradelink Electronic Commerce Limited ("Tradelink", SEHK: 0536), a provider of trade-related electronic services for Hong Kong and international business communities, announced today a co-operation agreement with Management Dynamics, a leading provider of on-demand Global Trade Management (GTM) solutions, to provide its customers with a service called Trade Wizards. With Trade Wizards, Tradelink customers can access a powerful decision support tool with global trade content that spans 118 countries or roughly 99% of world trade.



The challenge for companies in today's global environment is to maintain compliance with complex, ever-changing trade regulations, manage a growing network of trading partner relationships, and still get their product to market at the lowest delivered cost. Trade Wizards addresses this challenge and provides Tradelink customers with instant compliance capabilities and a full audit trail at the touch of a button from any web-enabled computer to:

-- Calculate import duties, excise taxes, as well as identify preferential duty rates


-- Search for Harmonized Schedule (HS) and Export Control Number (ECN) codes

-- Screen for restricted trade parties

-- Calculate the total landed cost of each shipment, and

-- Determine licensing requirements and trade documents

Powered by Management Dynamics, the service is available via the Tradelink portal and requires no software or system integration, saving valuable time and resources.
