Uboss Announce Seamless Integration With Htek IP PhonesLONDON, Sept. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Uboss, the internationally deployed OSS/BSS process automation platform for BroadSoft BroadWorks based Service Providers, has announced seamless integration with Htek U900 Series SIP handsets. This development sees all function buttons, on screen logos and directories configured by Uboss for an enhanced user experience and total remote control and configuration of the Htek endpoint from within the Uboss portal. Previously there has been a disconnect between the IP handsets and the BroadSoft switch, typically because the SIP handsets are built to connect to many different soft switch platforms. For BroadSoft Service providers this meant "orphaned" buttons or functions and confused menus on IP phones. This Uboss enhancement means that there is no local intelligence in the Htek handset and all functionality is delivered from the Uboss cloud. This includes Directories, where the user has dial-by-name across the BroadSoft Group and Personal directories. An important new deliverable with the Uboss Htek integration is true Key & Lamp working, allowing providers to deploy key system functionality opular on legacy CPE systems.
