Zentera Systems Welcomes Cybersecurity Expert Rebecca Bace to Technical Advisory Board


SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Zentera Systems, Inc., the leader in multicloud security and networking, announced today that Rebecca Bace, an internationally recognized cybersecurity expert and author, has joined the company's technical advisory board. Ms. Bace will advise Zentera on security industry trends, strategy and architecture for the protection of next-generation multicloud networks and applications.

Ms. Bace, the founder and CEO of Infidel, Inc., has served in a variety of leadership roles during her security career. These include Vice President of the Security Practice for In-Q-Tel, the investment arm of the U.S. Intelligence Community; and Venture Consultant for Trident Capital, where she provided advised a significant portfolio of security startups. She is also the author of two widely-used texts and a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) special publication on monitoring and detection. This built on her 13-year government career in which she led the Computer Misuse and Anomaly Detection (CMAD) Research program, sponsoring seminal research in intrusion detection.

Ms. Bace is influential in the security world and recently keynoted the first O'Reilly and Associates Security Conference. Among other honors, SC Magazine named her one of 2014's Five MostPowerful Women in Cyber Security.
