Symphony Ventures Hosted RPA Workshop to Educate Business Professionals on Automation TechnologySymphony Ventures, a professional services firm dedicated to helping enterprises leverage the latest automation, artificial intelligence and resourcing solutions, today announced that it hosted a robotic process automation (RPA) workshop with the National Outsourcing Association (NOA) on June 14 and 15 in London. This workshop leveraged presentations, case studies and practical demonstrations to help participants understand appropriate use cases for RPA, as well as how to effectively implement the technology to drive meaningful business value. Despite widespread interest in RPA from enterprises spanning industries and geographies, most are unsure about best practices when it comes to technology implementation, integration and management processes. According to a recent survey report from Symphony, "Buying RPA: From Hype to Reality," only two percent of surveyed RPA software buyers and users described RPA marketing collateral as "reliable and trustworthy," and the majority (58 percent) called for credible and independent service providers to deliver unbiased and insightful information about the true benefits and use cases of the technology. As part of its ongoing commitmet to provide objective intelligence about how to best leverage RPA, Symphony, an official training partner of the NOA, used this two-day workshop as an opportunity to explain top-of-mind questions from enterprise professionals, such as:
"As with any emerging industry, there are lots of questions about what RPA is and how it should be used," said Ian Barkin, co-founder and head of strategy at Symphony Ventures. "This workshop is one of the many mechanisms we use to educate business professionals on the opportunity the technology presents and the steps they should take to take advantage of RPA. The feedback from workshop participants has been overwhelmingly positive, and we will continue to create opportunities to help professionals understand and effectively leverage automation solutions." The workshop followed a course that Symphony held for ASPIRE in Krakow, Poland to introduce shared services managers to RPA and how it can be applied to back-office shared services environments to enhance overall business performance.
