Grandstream Announces Innovative New Audio Conferencing Phone Available for Beta Testing

The Grandstream Beta Club is now taking applications for the newest device in its conferencing product line - an audio conference phone running on the Android (News - Alert) 4.4 operating system. The device will be a unique addition to the audio conference market, serving as a standalone audio conference phone as well as an external speaker for Grandstream's GVC3200 video conferencing system. We are excited to gather feedback from our beta testers to help fine-tune this innovative and multi-faceted new device before its official launch in the market.

For this beta test, the Grandstream Beta Club is looking for testers with extensive experience in audio conferencing products and technologies. Most significantly, the Beta Club is looking for testers with inventive ideas that cn help redefine the way in which audio conferencing is used in today's market. Grandstream will be selecting the most skilled and experienced testers available and encourages all those interested to apply.

The newest product being released to the Grandstream Beta Club is an enterprise-grade Android IP conference phone running on the Android 4.4 operating system. The conference phone supports 6 lines and up to 7-way audio conferencing (including the unique capability of audio bridging between a SIP call and a Skype or Google (News - Alert) Hangouts call), and features a 4.3" 800 x 480 capacitive touch screen LCD for enhanced ease of use and a state of the art design. The device also includes a Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE, integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The audio conference phone delivers HD audio quality, automated provisioning, advanced security protection, and broad interoperability with most 3rd party SIP devices/platforms, making it a perfect choice for business users needing a high performance conference phone with superb audio quality. Fifty (50) product units will be available for shipping to selected Beta Club members by mid-October 2015.

Program Availability & Pricing

Each product released through the Grandstream Beta Club has a limited amount of beta test units available. Application to the Grandstream Beta Club is open to anyone and is FREE. Grandstream will select beta test participants based on applicant qualification. The cost to participate in a beta test is $1 to cover handling; however, the product model and shipping will be free of charge for each active beta tester. There is no charge to applicants who are not selected for a Beta test.
