NEC Makes It Easier for Clients to Realize Business Transformation with SAP-Certified Enterprise Storage Solution for Environments Running SAP HANA®NEC Corporation of America (NEC), a leading technology integrator of advanced IT, communications and networking solutions, today announced that its offerings for SAP (News - Alert) HANA® tailored data center integration have expanded beyond enterprise servers to include NEC enterprise storage solutions. NEC's M-Series storage solutions are now certified by SAP as an enterprise storage solution for the SAP HANA platform. Provided with documentation on best practices and supported by NEC (News - Alert), the NEC M-Series* family of storage products is immediately available for customers to implement the storage needed for running SAP HANA. Customers can leverage their existing hardware and infrastructure components that are SAP-certified enterprise storage solutions for their SAP HANA-based environments, providing more choice for organizations even when working in heterogeneous environments. Additionally, NEC's clients can build upon NEC's Nblock Enterprise Server to deliver advanced infrastructure functionality based on SAP HANA and fully supported by NEC.
