SPS Names Thomas M. Praschak as President


PARSIPPANY, N.J., June 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Strategic Products and Services (SPS), a Unified Communications System Integrator and managed service provider, today announced Thomas M. Praschak will assume the role of SPS president. John N. Poole, who formerly served as president and chief executive officer (CEO), will continue as CEO.

SPS specializes in the design, integration and management of Unified Communication applications, including contact centers, collaboration, video, core infrastructure and voice. SPS teams with clients, providing professional services, managed services and cloud-based options to deliver exceptional results.

Prior to joining SPS as chief operating officer (COO) in 2013, Praschak served as vice president, service operations for Dimension Data. In this role, he built and managed the America Services Operations, a service business providing staffing, consulting, deployment, maintenance, management, cloud and outsourcing solutions. Praschak also served as vice president and general manager for converged communications and network integration. Prior to his tenure at Dimension Data, Praschak served as vice president, general manager at DecisionOne, where he led the logistics and repair business and oversaw remote services. Praschak has also held roles with Marconi, Lucent Technologies and AT&T Bell Laboratories.
