Award-winning Microsoft Lync Hosting Partner, Intility, Relies on Voxbone to Enhance Its Unified Communications Solution

Hosted service provider, Intility, today announced the integration of Voxbone's virtual local telephone numbers into its Lync service. As the only inbound SIP trunking provider to be qualified for MS Lync 2013 (currently being rebranded to Skype (News - Alert)-for-Business), Voxbone allows Intility to extend the coverage of its Lync-based conferencing feature to more than 55 countries and 8,000 cities around the world. Intility won the Microsoft (News - Alert) Hosting Partner of the Year award three consecutive times, in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Microsoft Lync solutions are deployed by cloud PBX and hosted service providers to improve the collaboration capabilities within an enterprise. According to Gartner (News - Alert), the market share of Microsoft Lync in enterprise telephony and UC solutions has doubled in just a year's time. To enable comprehensive Lync-based conferencing features, providers such as Intility have used services from external audio conferencing providers (ACPs). However, contracting third party providers adds substantial cost and complexity. By using Voxbone's (News - Alert) flat rate local dial-in numbers to support its Lync-based conferencing service, Intility can now make its UC solution accessible to all end users, including remote or third-party non-Lync participants, without the need to integrate services from third party conferencing providers.

"Voxbone enables usto integrate high quality, international dial-in numbers into our Lync platform, which further differentiates Intility's offering in the competitive UC space," said Simon Mangelroed, Senior Engineer UC of Intility. "Our customers can now enjoy a complete Lync solution, without having to worry about the additional costs associated with third party conferencing providers."

"The rise of the UCaaS market has resulted in significantly improved collaboration capabilities in the enterprise. Microsoft Lync is leading this charge, driven by innovative hosting providers such as Intility," said Itay Rosenfeld, CEO of Voxbone. "The addition of Voxbone's services will enrich the experience and business benefits of Intility's Lync solution for more users worldwide."
