MRO Corp. Announces Acquisition of Release-of-Information Vendor United Record Solutions

MRO, a leader in the secure, compliant and efficient exchange of Protected Health Information (PHI), announced today it has acquired the assets of United Record Solutions (URS), a release of information (ROI) service provider based in Syracuse, N.Y. As part of the transaction, Bo Stoianoff, president of URS, will join MRO's management team. The transaction was effective March 23, 2015.

As a result of the acquisition, MRO will implement its PHI disclosure management solutions at hospitals and physician practices that URS services throughout the state of New York. During the transition to MRO, URS clients will benefit from MRO's industry-leading services and technology with no disruptions to access or customer service. Additionally, they will continue to work with URS staff, including Stoianoff, as he assumes the position of MRO's northeast director of client relations. Stoianoff comes to MRO with more than 22years of experience in the ROI industry.

"We are very pleased to join forces with MRO," says Stoianoff. "United by a collective business culture, MRO was the right match for URS. My company's mission was to exceed the expectations of our customers and focus on providing outstanding service. MRO is equally committed to making sure their clients are successful. I am confident that as MRO's newest clients, URS customers will be satisfied with both the quality of MRO's industry-leading services and their overall culture of excellence."

"We are very excited about our new alliance with URS," says Steve Hynes, CEO of MRO. "Not only does this support our strategy for continued expansion, but we are gaining the experience of Bo Stoianoff and his staff, increasing our personnel intellectual property at MRO as the most experienced management team in the business."
