Metaswitch Certifies Grandstream's IP Video Phone for Android™ and DECT Cordless IP Phones for Hosted UC Solutions

Grandstream Networks today announced that Metaswitch Networks has certified Grandstream's IP Video Phones for Android (News - Alert) and DECT Cordless IP phones with Metaswitch's hosted UC platforms. Service providers around the world using the Metaswitch hosted IP telephony platform can now automatically and securely provision Grandstream's award-winning GXV3275 and GXV3240 IP Video Phones for Android and DP715/DP710 DECT Cordless IP phones for mass deployment with their Metaswitch platform. These devices, along with the many other Grandstream endpoints already certified by Metaswitch, support the Metaswitch Provisioning Server endpoint pack available for download from the Metaswitch Communities Mosaic website. This enables service providers to easily and quickly configure Grandstream devices in the field.

The completion of successful certification testing of the GXV3275, GXV3240, DP715 and DP710 further expands the long-term partnership between the two companies. By adding certification of these four new devices, Metaswitch has now certified 24 Grandstream SIP endpoints - including the full current line of Grandstream IP Phones, ATAs, and VoIP gateways. Provisioning Server endpoint packs are also available for all 24 devices. This continued collaboration simply offers service providers and their customers using the Metaswitch platform a full lineup of award winning SIP endpoints from Grandstream that can be confidently and seamlessly deployed to take advantage of Metaswitch's comprehensive UC offerings.
