Merrill Corporation Relocates Atlanta Office to Midtown Mile

Merrill's Atlanta office will move to 1075 Peachtree Street, N.E., in the heart of Atlanta's Midtown Mile area, a business and retail core in midtown Atlanta that's home to several Fortune 500 companies, leading law firms, and cutting-edge businesses.

"This move affords us the opportunity to offer state-of-the-art facilities that will allow businesses to conduct complex transactions in a secure, comfortable and efficient location," said Rod Johnson, chief operating officer for Merrill's legal and financial business. "In addition, we upgraded our location so we could literally be within walking distance of Atlanta's largest and fastest growing businesses and their advisors."

The new facility, featuring state-of-the-art, world-class technology, will offer conferencing andmeeting space specifically designed to facilitate complex, high-level legal, business and financial transactions. Dealmakers and their advisors can meet face-to-face or virtually to conduct business transactions, depositions, arbitrations, videoconferences or meetings.

Available to its clients 24/7, Merrill's new Atlanta facility is fully staffed with Merrill's expert project management, customer service and composition teams. The new facility offers amenities such as VoIP phones and HDMI capability at each conference table, IP-based videoconferencing, projection screens, private client restrooms, private phone booths, 24-hour concierge service, client lounges with dining areas.

The Merrill Atlanta team is specially trained to assist Southeast region organizations involved with international business transactions. Because these transactions may occur over many hours and days and long into the night, Merrill provides excellent cuisine for its in-house clients from Atlanta's top chefs and highly rated restaurants. Parking and access to major hotels are located in close proximity, including the Loews Atlanta Hotel, which is part of the office complex where the new Merrill Atlanta office is located. The Atlanta office of Cresa Partners served as the real estate broker to Merrill in locating and negotiating the lease for the new facilities. Veenendaal Cave Inc., served as architect and interior designer.
