Matrox Graphics to showcase C-Series multi-display graphics cards at Sicurezza 2014

(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 17 October 2014 Release date- 16102014 - Matrox Graphics Inc. will publically present new C-Series multi-display graphics cards for the first time in Italy at Sicurezza 2014 (Fiera Milano, Nov. 12-14) on stand #S21 at Milestone Systems Ecosystem Village.

In addition, Maevex H.264 encoders and decoders, and Mura MPX Series video wall controller boards will be demonstrated.

Multi-Display Graphics Cards Matrox C-Series multi-display graphics cards deliver outstanding performance, stability, and usability to power video management systems and small-scale display walls. Designed for use in a wide variety of professional environments, C-Series cards feature 2 GB of on-board memory and secure mini DisplayPort connectivity. Matrox C680 supports up to six 4K/UHD displays and will be demonstrated at Sicurezza driving a six-monitor video wall on which Axis IP-cameras will be decoded via Milestone XProtect Smart Client. Matrox C420, the fastest quad card with passive cooling, also serves as a reliable option for security & surveillance applications.

AV-over-IP H.264 Encoders/Decoders Matrox Maevex H.264 encoders and decoders deliver exceptional-quality AV streaming at low bandwidth over standard IP networks for display or for storage anywhere on the LAN. Maevex encoders can be combined with Maevex decoders or a third-party software decoder to stream up to Full HD AV content to different displays and collaborative video walls. Security surveillance environments using Milestone XProtect can conveniently integrate Maevex to view Full HD 1080p60 AV-over-IP content from a variety of sources on the LAN, including the desktop of a system featuring the software's Smart Client application-with live camera feeds-to share operator views. Maevex is multi-functional in design and can also be used to record desktop sessions to NAS, whether for review or evaluation purposes. Maevex comes bundled with Matrox PowerStream software for easy remote device management, stream switching and streaming/recording parameter adjustment, including user-definable bit rates between 100 Kbps and 25 Mbps.

Video Wall Controller Boards Matrox Mura MPX Series capture and display boards feature flexible inputs and high-quality outputs allowing integrators, system builders, and equipment manufacturers to easily and cost-effectively build high-density controller systems supporting custom video walls of almost any size. Exceptional-quality scaling, switching, and compositing of source content, including from SDI camera feeds, is easily managed through intuitive software control options such as the recently released Matrox MuraControl 3.0 for Windows. At Sicurezza, Mura boards will power a four-monitor video wall. Different inputs-both direct and via a Matrox-powered player PC-will feed into Mura along with multiple Maevex decoders to help simulate a surveillance control room video wall.
