Born from the unique geometric patterns found in Iranian architecture and art, the patterns bring to life meanings within the culture while the alphabet forms maintain the educational and language value of the set.

The new line marks the first collaboration with New York based Golreezan, a brand known for icon designs featuring Iranian-American themes.

"We're always stretching the traditional alphabet block paradigm while maintaining playability, and this set is a good example of our effort to elevate the design while incorporating aspects of the culture," said Pete Bultman, owner of Uncle Goose. "Teaming with Golreezan was a wonderful experience because of their unique expertise and their ability to bring this set to life." Uncle Goose's traditional alphabet blocks feature non-toxic inks and are made from sustainable basswood sources from the U.S. The unique blocks are stocked in many museums, including New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) and the Guggenheim.
