BUYINS.NET: Market Maker Surveillance Report. PFE, GE, JNJ, ABX, VPLM, KABX, Highest Net Sell Volume and Negative Price Friction For Wednesday, May 1st 2013

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 3685 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1568 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3905 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Wednesday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. Pfizer Inc (NYSE:PFE), General Electric Co (NYSE:GE), Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ), Barrick Gold Corp (NYSE:ABX), Voip Pal Com Inc (OTC:VPLM), Kabe Exploration Inc (OTC:KABX). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below: Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction PFE $-0.150 -0.52% 11,462,991 25.42% 13,707,110 30.40% -2,244,119 -149,608 GE $-0.140 -0.63% 9,730,851 24.84% 12,938,564 33.02% -3,207,713 -229,122 JNJ $-1.000 -1.17% 2,842,294 23.10% 4,352,990 35.37% -1,510,696 -15,107 ABX $-0.490 -2.49% 3,539,338 17.73% 7,201,517 36.07% -3,662,179 -74,738 VPLM $-0.023 -24.73% 1,820,796 21.27% 5,622,117 65.67% -3,801,321 -1,652,748 KABX $-0.012 -40.00% 1,607,520 29.73% 3,799,698 70.27% -2,192,178 -1,826,815 Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows PFE down $-0.15000 with a Friction Factor of -149,608 and a Net Volume of -2,244,119. That means that it takes 149,608 more shares of selling than buying to drop PFE by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
