Three SharePoint Superstars Rise Above the Field in the $100,000 Metalogix SharePoint Makeover Contest

Washington, D.C., Feb 14, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- The entries poured in from around the world for the $100,000 SharePoint Makeover Contest as individuals submitted their vision for what they could accomplish with SharePoint 2013. Today, Metalogix, the leading provider of content infrastructure software to improve the use and performance of enterprise content on Microsoft SharePoint, Exchange and Cloud platforms, has announced the three finalists. The winner will be decided by public vote and you can help decide by visiting http://www.SharePointMakeover.com.

The finalists separated themselves from the competition by showing passion, creativity and vision to realize the full potential of SharePoint 2013 and how they would use Metalogix to become the next great SharePoint superstar. The finalists are: Cherie Riesberg, Universal Technical Institute, who wants to upgrade her company's SharePoint 2007 environment to SharePoint 2013 and take advantage of new MySites and search features. She feels that her organization could benefit from enhanced collaboration in SharePoint 2013.

C. Jake Jacobsen, Babson College, who is looking at moving his university to a uniform SharePoint 2013 environment, as its intranet is currently on SharePoint 2007 while the extranet is on SharePoint 2010. He believes the social features in SharePoint 2013 would stimulate collaboration.

Alex Aslan, Allianz Global Investors, who wants to upgrade his company's internal SharePoint 2007 environment to SharePoint 2013 for better mobile device and social feature support. Metalogix Content Matrix would allow him to do custom SharePoint migrations during the project.

You can view the full entry for each finalist at http://www.SharePointMakeover.com as well as see critiques from an expert panel of judges, which includes Hugh McKellar, Editor-in-Chief of KMWorld Magazine; Inna Gordin, Founder of SharePointReviews.com, and Trevor Hellebuyck, Chief Technology Officer of Metalogix.
