Sycamore Networks Solutions, Inc. Appoints Vice President of Sales for Asia Pacific

Sycamore Networks (News - Alert) Solutions, Inc., a Marlin Equity Partners portfolio company, today announced the appointment of Grant Soh to the role of Vice President of Sales for the Asia Pacific region. In this capacity, Mr. Soh will help drive growth for the company's industry-leading intelligent optical networking and multiservice access solutions throughout the region, as well as expand the company's distribution channels into new markets.

Mr. Soh brings to his role over 20 years of experience in high technology sales, with an extensive business development background and proven success in the service provider, government, and enterprise market segments. Previously, Mr. Soh held senior sales management positions at IPITEK, a manufacturer of advanced carrier-class products and services, and American Communications (News - Alert), a supplier of telecom hardware and engineering services for data, wireless, and wireline networks. From 1999 to 2007, Mr. Soh served as Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific at Eastern Research, Inc., a leader in multiservice access networking solutions acquired by Sycamore Networks in 2006. Mr. Soh holds a BSEE from California State University, Fullerton.
