Citizant Signs New Lease to Expand Headquarters
CHANTILLY, Va. --(Business Wire)--
Citizant,
a leader in business transformation and information-sharing solutions
for national security and federal law enforcement agencies, today
announced it has expanded its lease to include an additional 2,500
square feet at its headquarters office in Chantilly, Va. The expanded
space will accommodate 15 new employees in business development and
program delivery.
"The staff at Citizant's headquarters in Chantilly has doubled since we
moved to this office in 2007. This most recent expansion allows us to
accelerate our growth by adding more business development and technical
solution experts," said Alba
M. Alemán, Citizant's president. "Expanding in our current location
will help us maintain collaboration and minimize costs so we can focus
on creating value for our federal customers. We believe this is what the
government wants from industry partners in pursuit of smarter, leaner
and more effective public-sector solutions."
Citizant recently selected OTJ
Architects, a leading architecture firm in the Washington area, as
its space planning and design firm for future office expansions in the
Washington area and other cities. Voted as the 2008 Architecture Firm of
the Year by the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors,
OTJ Architects will help Citizant design and optimize office spaces that
enable collaboration and innovation among employees in all parts of the
business.
"OTJ Architects is excited and privileged to be working with such a
dynamic company as Citizant," said Louis Gauchi, partner at OTJ
Architects. "This opportunity will enable us to continue applying our
extensive design experience and proven track record in serving our
clients' architectural needs. OTJ will provide Citizant a new workplace
for its team focused on their mission of improving the future for
America's citizens. We look forward to our collaboration with their
leadership team in creating an exciting work environment that singularly
represents Citizant, meets its needs and supports its mission."
Last year Citizant was awarded prime seats on two large IT contracts - ITSS-4
at the Department of Justice and TIPSS-4
at the Department of the Treasury. Citizant has hired more than 40 new
employees in 2012 and expects to hire another 25 employees this year.
