IQMS, a manufacturing ERP software developer with an ongoing, proactive commitment to its product and relationships, announced the release of its shipping and distribution management module, Shipping Manager.
In a release, the Company noted IQMS customers can now send and receive real-time data to and from common freight carrier systems, such as FedEx and UPS - all from within EnterpriseIQ.
Built on IQMS' fully encompassed ERP platform, Shipping Manager automatically populates the package weight through scale interfaces, component weight data and other various methods. Users can then view up-to-the-minute shipping rates from FedEx or UPS and select the most cost effective shipping method for continual shipping savings. Shipping Manager automatically populates ship to addresses, accurate shipping charges and tracking numbers to the packing slips for increased shipping accuracy every time.
Certified by both FedEx and UPS, Shipping Manager makes international shipping a breeze with the streamlined creation of commercial invoices, including multiple currencies, export declarations and NAFTA certificates of origin. Track your packages from within the EnterpriseIQ module, print carrier approved labels, analyze shipment history and easily close shipments at the end of the day with the single click of a button.
"Shipping is a common headache for most manufacturers. Errors, price misquotes, improper packaging and other various shipping logistics all result in our clients devoting too much time to the shipping process," said Glenn Nowak, vice president at IQMS. "Now, with the development of Shipping Manager, our customers can focus on what they care about most - manufacturing innovative products and delivering superior customer service."
The Shipping Manager module is a licensed application compatible with the EnterpriseIQ 2011 release and above.
